Dracula 2003

In 2003 we thought that we would try something a little bit different! Some people were a little apprehensive at the title but it was very funny (and no more frightening than any previous pantomimes...)

We had a new addition to the group - Sarah Taheri came to join us as Dracula (see left). She did a fantastic job!

Set in Transylvania the action centered around the Dame’s public house, The Donor’s Arms, and the Count’s Castle. Stranger to town Richard falls in love with the Dame’s daughter but the Count has decided that she will become his fourth Bride. Richard saves the day by removing Dracula’s teeth!

The aftershow party was held at the Navigation Tavern and a good night was had by all!

The show was a success - we made nearly £1800 and donated this to the church, Pilots (youth group) and the Zack Jone’s Fund (a local boy with leukaemia).

Thanks to all the local public houses who let us loose selling raffle tickets!
